I am interested in the potential role of Density-Dependent Selection for life history traits in the Trinidadian Guppy (Poecilia reticulata). To address this I am doing density manipulation experiments in artificial streams. I have also done mark recapture studies in Trinidad to determine the extent of spatial and temporal variability in demographic variables in an attempt to examine how well Density?Dependent selection might function in natural populations of guppies.
