Research interests: I am interested in ecology and life- history evolution, and am in the process of developing a project for my Ph.D. work. Currently, I am starting a project in the Reznick lab to determine whether matrotrophic fish can resorb nutrients from aborted embryos in low- resource environments. This could potentially help explain why, and in what conditions, matrotrophy would evolve in viviparous fish. For my Ph.D. work, I would like to explore a research question related to this, and would potentially like to include a conservation aspect to my work.
